Zoey Trap, MS is a lifelong student of mindbody practices. Her journey has encompassed yoga, Pilates, and qigong, as well as lesser known movement practices such as somatics and dance therapy. Zoey was first introduced to Pilates and yoga during her career as a professional contemporary dancer; today she is an internationally renowned mindbody presenter, known as a pioneer in bringing Pilates and Yoga to the fitness field over 20 years ago. She has been published in 7 languages, taught instructors on 4 continents, and been featured in 8 DVD’s. Zoey is a sought out expert in the field  having been quoted in numerous articles and featured on national television.

With an MS in Exercise Science and a research focus on alternative therapy and the spine, Zoey has a passion for combining the art and science of teaching movement to maximize human potential.

As a Peak Pilates Master Trainer she has been instrumental in developing the instructor educational and certification programs, as well as designing the coaching system used by Peak Trainers. Zoey is the Peak Pilates Team Leader and is responsible for training and mentoring instructor trainers all over the world. Zoey has been nominated for Shape Up Presenter of the Year, and written programs for Nautilus, Keiser, and LifeTime Fitness. She was featured in Pilates Style Magazine in March, 2009. Zoey has worked closely with Pilates Elder Mary Bowen for the last 5 years and is beginning studies with Pilates Elder Lolita San Miguel in July.

Ever since she got her first fitness certification at the age of 16 Kathryn knew her life’s purpose was to help others feel their best. Kathryn specializes in Pilates and yoga in addition to nutrition and health coaching. Today Kathryn successfully runs one of the busiest Pilates studios within LifeTime Fitness.

Although she started her career as an indoor cycling instructor and personal trainer she quickly recognizing the trans-formative power of Pilates. Now, with over 12 years experience, she has been featured in Pilates Style Magazine, nationally on NBC, Fox News and in DVDs. Kathryn is a respected and well known Peak Pilates® Instructor Trainer and international presenter. She has completed two classical comprehensive Pilates certifications with PilateSystems and Peak Pilates® totaling over 1000 hours of training. Kathryn not only teaches students but also trains instructors in the Peak Pilates® method and shares her knowledge at educational conferences and is known for her approachability.

Learning never ends and Kathryn is committed to making the classical work accessible for everybody and has worked closely with physical therapists, gaining insight into how to use Pilates for pre-hab and re-hab. Additionally, Kathryn has also studied with Pilates elder Mary Bowen and master teachers Kathy Corey, Zoey Trap, Clare Dunphy, Coleen Glen, Michael Fritzke, Ton Voogt and others.

Kathryn believes nutrition plays an important role in fostering holistic (physical, mental and spiritual) wellness. In addition to being a certified nutritionist Kathryn has graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is a certified holistic health coach. Utilizing her nutritional knowledge and coaching skills she created a Clean and Healthy Living Program which has taken Avon, CT by storm drawing media attention. She has successfully lead over a hundred people through this one month detox program. In addition to leading group programs she also works with individuals to help them identify which food best serve their unique needs.

Whether through Pilates, yoga or nutrition Kathryn works to honor each individual’s potential and help them to achieve their  best.
